Bulgaria Producer Prices Drop Again in October

Producer prices in Bulgaria fell for the seventh consecutive month to 20.1% year-on-year in October, from a 24.3% drop in the previous month, the Sofia-based National Statistical Institute (NSI) said on Thursday.
The decline was driven by a 47.9% plunge in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply prices.
On an annual comparison basis, the most significant price growth in the manufacturing industry was observed in the making of tobacco products (44.4%) and of computer, electronic and optical products (20.6%).
Producer prices on the non-domestic market lost 7.8% annually in October.
On a monthly basis, producer prices slumped by 0.9% in October, after a 1.6% gain in September.
