Companies Spending Less on Advertising

Figures

Advertising prices in the Hungarian media have depreciated as companies are spending less on advertising, according to the latest analysis by Mindshare, one of Hungary's leading media planning and buying agencies.

It examined the advertising spending and financial data of nearly a hundred of the largest advertisers, supplemented with data from Kantar Media Adex and Nielsen's audience measurements.

According to the analysis, the most prominent companies spend barely 0.5% of their turnover on media buying in the Hungarian advertising market.

In 2022, the total was barely 0.4%, down from 0.7% in 2021, while in 2006, it accounted for 1.6%.
