Farmgate Prices Fall 14.6% in June

Farmgate prices in Hungary fell 14.6% year-on-year in June, dropping for the third month in a row, after climbing for years, data released by the Central Statistical Office (KSH) show.

Crop prices declined 26.5% as grain prices plunged 39% and oilseed prices were down 48.4%.

The price of livestock and animal products rose 15.1% as prices for live animals climbed 19.7% and animal product prices increased 5.5%.
