Waberer's Signs Contract to Build HUF 18 bln Warehouse

Listed hauler Waberer's International on Monday said it signed an HUF 18 billion contract with Bayer Construct to build a 47,000 sqm warehouse in Ecser, on the outskirts of Budapest, according to a reprot by state news wire MTI.

Ground will be broken in February and the investment will be completed in Q1 2024.

Waberer's noted that it earlier won HUF 6 bln of government aid for the investment.

Waberer's CEO Zsolt Barna said the construction of the warehouse is a "major milestone" for the regional logistics sector. It will give Waberer's the capacity to manage dangerous goods covered by the ADR and e-commerce partners' products with automated logistics solutions, he added.
