Gebrüder Weiss Inaugurates HUF 10 bln Expansion

Austrian-owned logistics company Gebrüder Weiss Kft. inaugurated a HUF 10 billion expansion at its base in Dunaharaszti (20 km southeast of Budapest) this weel, according to a press release.
The investment boosted space at the base by 10,000 sqm to 32,000 sqm and raised the business' total logistics area in Hungary close to 100,000 sqm, managing director Bálint Varga said.
Gebrüder Weiss chairman Wolfgang Senger-Weiss predicted a rebound in industrial production, especially in the automotive and electronics industries, that would boost demand for logistics services in coming years.
The company had a net revenue of HUF 34.1 bln in 2022, according to public records.
