New President Appointed at Nébih

Dr. Imre Nemes will assume the post of president at the head of the National Food Chain Safety Office (Nébih), Márton Nobilis, the state secretary responsible for the food industry and trade policy, announced in a statement by the Ministry of Agriculture.

Nobilis emphasized that Nemes is a specialist who well-versed the requirements of food safety. Nemes gained a lot of usable experience as the professional director of the Association of Hungarian Pig Breeders and Pig Keepers. Thanks to his duties as Nébih's former deputy president, he is also familiar with the operation and values ​​of the office.

Nemes announced that he was happy to take on the honorable task, having participated in the establishment of the office and its operation until 2019. Nobilis thanked former president Dr. Márton Oravecz for establishing the organization and stable operation of Nébih, and for ensuring its high-quality performance.
