Esztergom Guest Nights up 15% in July

Combining its unique historical and cultural values, favorable natural features, and new culinary attractions, Esztergom (45 km northwest of Budapest) is appealing to a broader target audience than previously.
The presence of a Michelin-starred restaurant, 42 Restaurant, and Piac 42 Bistro, which was added in the latest issue of the Michelin Guide, published a few days ago, is a hallmark that a new chapter is being written in the catering industry and tourism of Esztergom.
The data speaks for itself, as the number of local guest nights increased by a total of 15% in the first seven months of last year, according to Zoltán Szekér, managing director of Esztergom Turisztikai Nonprofit Kft.
